search/advanced search not working?

I've been trying to use the search but it keeps telling me there was an error and that I should try a different search because it couldn't find any matches... I tried vag-com, aux, and even car, but it keeps telling me no matches it worked earlier in the day

anyone else having problems?

I ran vag-com and aux and got the same thing, I ran some other words and they came up fine. What's up MODS or ADMIN?

How did you guys find the spammers? DId you do an advance search???

Anywho, search works for me...

The guy sent me a p/m telling me what he was doing!

Worked for me too, with some words, not his. Try vag-com in advanced search on the left side, use all other defaults.

Ok, just cracked open a beer. Now I can tell you why it isnt working...
You're searching for 3-letter words....search function will not search for words that are 3 letters or less
Yes, I know you tried searching "vag-com" which APPEARS to be more than 3 letters but the "-" sign is viewed as a space...so, the serach thinks it is actually two 3 letter words...
Search vagcom as one word....see, it works
Now search OEM....see, it doesnt work
