Default It's meat... in a can....

Well it appears we have a serial spammer on the boards. Might i suggest that we have all signatures and hyper linking for new members disabled temporarily until we can get rid of this pain in the ass?

Oh BTW, the island people say that spam tastes just like people meat and they commonly referred to humans as long pig back in their cannibalistic days.....FYI :P

When you see a message that you think is spam. Pls click the symbol on the post, and leave a message that it's suspected spam.

Then, do not reply to the offending post.

That's how we deal w/spammers.

I understand that NOR but, your going to be very busy as this person appears to be making new names nightly and hitting a bunch of threads. It would be easier on you mods to temporarily make it so new members can't post links so do deter them from signing up as, they won't be able to post their processed pork links.

I like the suggestion too noR. Besides, we don't want you good mods and admins waisting good org time, dealing with those idiot spammers. That would deter them a great deal.

Is it just me, or did the majority of this crap start shortly after AutoGuide took over? Its either intentional or they have left some door open to this crap. Im still pissed about when the malware got onto this site and infected my work PC. The whole unit had to be nuked, my boss was pissed!

I don't think we had nearly the spammer volume until the takeover. A lot of the spammers tend to post in random threads and link to automd.com as well...

Great link. Ali was begging for me to shut it off after a minute and a half...wish I could still look at the .org at work, but no dice....IT folks say it is now considered a malicious site.

Still getting spammers here. We really need better security for new member signups or something. This is getting really annoying. Better response in getting rid of them would help too...
