I don't think there's enough of those people to need a whole forum, we'll make a Misc forum for your guys or something. You can share it with the people who talk about knitting socks

Just to open this up again.

Look at the post numbers for the G2G section.

Myself, I can guarantee two threads, which is more than 'Texas New Beetle Roundup" and "USA: North Central"

If you can't make a Canadian one, then, in fairness, delete the two boards that I mentioned above, there just isn't enough 'demand' to keep them around any longer.

I'm all for making a Canada forum in Events, and was from the beginning. As I said in my very first post in this thread, I agree with your suggestion that we need more forums for more countries. I'm all for it -- let's do it. It's tough to figure out exactly which countries have the representation here to do it, but Canada is an obvious one.

The only thing I disagreed with you on was when you said American's made up only two percent of the population. That may or may not be true, but I just wanted to point out that it's definitely not true at NewBeetle.org.

Also, I don't think thread counts in the new forums is a very good measure -- these forums haven't even been open a month yet. If you look back at the old forums, you'll find that both of the forums you refer to had plenty of use over time.

It would be nice if "elsewhere" can be divided up in continents at least.
Specific countries is not necessary.
Most of the countries have their own forum anyway where events can be shown.
But it's possible that someone from outside the USA finds this org and can then find easily that in his/her country a meeting is held by a local NB-club (without knowing a local club exists).
As an example, the Dutch NB club is planning for at least 6 meetings a year.
In Germany alot of meetings are held each year. Unfortunately not alot of Germans know English very well, so you won't find them much here .

And for the language chart. I'm afraid I'm partly guilty for the high number??? hehehe

Pretty true, google for "new beetle forum" and the org is the first hit (that's the way I found out about it ) what may help more is a link page where people from various countries could fine their local NB forum. Some of these forums may be nice enough to link back to the org. Then we could have cross-searches in the tech section, that may increase the knowledge base !!!
And then, there will be enough of us to conquer the world !!!! Muhahahahahahaha

Jokes aside crosslinks may not be a bad idea ... ... don't flame me !!!

Cross pollenation isn't a bad idea though. There's a Puerto Rico forum I check out from time to time, as well as .org.uk
