I am very aggravated. Note, that's not the mad face, it's the aggravated face.

I'm mad cuz of how UNBELIEVABLY slow as molasses the org has been the last 3 -4 days. It takes forever to switch pages as if there's 500 logged in.

Can we get this fixed, or what?? I can't be my BestExampl if i'm a SlowExampl.

So you're mad because a site that you use FOR FREE isn't quite as fast as you'd likeE? Calm down, my man.

I've not really noticed it, but I'm not logged in as much as you guys. I'll see what I can do.

Hey now, I paid some money to use this place! *points to subtext under user name*

For the record, I only see sluggishness on the 1,000 post thread, those pages take a while. Images, sometimes slow, otherwise it's not bad at all on the T3 at work on the puny cable at home.

It seems worse now. It is actually faster to close the site and reopen it then to go from page to page!

It's just all the Honda guys lurking around to see what we're up to and hogging bandwidth with their snoopiness!

It sounds like the slowness is pretty intermittent and not everyone is seeing it. i'm not really sure what to say, nor what i can do. Remember, I no longer adminster the server that NewBeetle.org is on, so what I can do is limited.

I do want to point something out, though: those of you who donated did exactly that. You donated. You didn't BUY anything. You weren't guaranteed any service because of your donation. You donated out of the good of your heart, not so that you would be given some kind of special treatment.

NewBeetle.org is, always has been, and always will be a free site. We of course appreciate your donations very, very much, but there is simply no way that we can promise donators more speed, better service, or faster reponse time to problems you may have. If we could promise that, we wouldn't ask for a donation -- we'd ask for a subscription to a premium plan.
