Ooh! normally I would need one of those but I happened to be talking about this to my Uncle who lives in Charlotte and was up here this past weekend for a wedding and my cousin's daughter told me she would watch the furkid for that week. I didn't even have to ask!

Bumpin to boost interest

If I have to I'll resort to PMing everyone in a 5 state area

The idea for starting his 2K10 thread 11+ months early is so all you folks "on the fence" can start putting spare change aside so the GTG won't affect your budget last minute. Take a few minutes and read all the posted comments made after the 2K09 GTG. Do the same with the ToD thread in the "events picture" section. I think you'll find that everyone and I mean everyone tht attended this GTG had a blast. Do your part in making the 2K10 ToD GTG the biggest Org event ever.
I certainly will.

There was never any doubt that Lily and her people will be there next year but just to make it official... Put John & Llona on the list. I'm determined to actually see the view from the Cherohala Skyway!

I had no doubt we'd see you three at the 2K10 ToD
Maybe next year in addition to a trivia challenge I could give away a trophy or plaque for longest distance travelled for the event.

Excellent idea! I think Lily was the winner for the maiden TOD. She ran 878.3 miles to get to Bryson City (according to AAA TripTik from my driveway).

Okay folks, we need some new-comers to beat that this year. The trip alone is worth the effort but hey....might take a nice plaque home too!

That's the type of enthusiasm we need I have a strong feeling 2K10 will be a great turnout

Is MI or OK further? Herbie Jr. might have beaten Lily this year, but I'm not sure. I know that at least Mom and I will be there, my husband asked if he would be welcome even though he doesn't know the first thing about cars. I told him sure, but it would make either me have to ride in the back seat of mom's vert or we would bring two cars. Not that bringing two cars would be bad, but that would put mom riding by herself unless she finds someone to bring with her, too! Anyway, we had a blast!

Gary, the PM you sent me was what told me about the event. I hadn't been on here in forever until you sent me that PM, then I came back, forwarded the info to Mom, and the rest, as they say, is history!

I think as this ToD gathers abit more steam, I'll do the same again, just won't PM the folks I know will be attending. If I remember correctly, I also only PM'd those with more than a 10 post count.

Can't wait to meet hubby in 2K10. One certainly doesn't need to have automotive knowledge to make a fun weekend happen

Naturally we'll both be back for an encore engagement - plans are being made this very instant.

My good man, it looks like you'll be editing the first page...AGAIN. You should have artwork e-mailed to you before the weekend is over.

It is May 1st yet?

Glad you like it Sir Gary The Dragonslayer. I must say that after doing the artwork for these two TOD events, i have a new found affinity for dragons. And thanks for the stamp of approval and the kind words.

Please check your e-mail. I've added some boarders to the artwork. It adds a nice touch and finish to the work- kinda like this years work

I'm gonna have to go to Kinkos/Office Depot and get some posters made. Oh yeah, a few tags for potential attendees wouldn't hurt either

Both posts have been updated with the bordered artwork. If I'm able, I'll have a few tags made too. There are a ton of nB's running around Aiken all of a sudden. Could be a good sign

Oh ya, the wheels on the yellow nB look alot like Moda R6's
