I'm cool with a continental breakfast. Others may not be, though. I guess we could scout the area for potential breakfast locations the night before.

There is a Cracker Barrel and a Steak-n-Shake just down the street from your hotel.

Great, now we won't have to go searching. Thanks for the help.

I'm so down with Cracker Barrel. Love the place. Any Starbucks nearby?

Well - I got Tater's interior done last night. I have my packing list complete and now need to pack.

I will wash Tater tonight and possibly get the claybar done tonight. If not, then tomorrow. Two polishings will occur over the weekend with a 3rd on the front end. I still need to wash the car bra (dug it out of the bottom of the garage floor). Get the wheels and wheel wells cleaned up and wipe down the engine.

Most of my pre-trip shopping is done. Going to the bank today for cash. Pack everything Monday night and Tuesday night. Load up on Tuesday night. Sue will be driving in Tuesday afternoon.

I wanted to by a digital video recorder. I haven't had time to see if there is any available in the area. May have to skip that one. I can do some recording with my camera. Not as nice but adequate.

I'm almost getting excited now. Work has been so busy that I haven't had time to work on the trip. That and the weather still stinks here. Tornados in the area last night.

Another vote for Cracker Barrel. I am not too fond of Steak-n-Shake due to a miserable experience at one during the 2005 Women's Basketball NCAA championship.

I'm planning to wash the car and get final purchasing of stuff I need done this weekend. If it stops raining.

I had planned to buy a Flip video camera before the trip but that was before I got a new car (and the payments that go along with it). So the iPhone will have to suffice.

You guys are too much Waxing 2 or 3 times, cleaning wheel wells, interiors and stuff. I just got mine vacuumed for the 1st time in 6 months and I'd like to get the oil changed this weekend considering it was pre ToD 2K09 when it was done last
(admittedly less than 3K miles ago)

Cracker Barrel can be anywhere, anytime. Starbucks in Murfreesboro is good. One last chance before we get to NC. I already know there isn't one in BC. Darn.

I did find the Flip video camera at noon today. Cameron - If I pick it up, do you want to try it out?

Hahahahaha! I should have known that Cameron. I will see what I can do. It's the slider version - 4gb of storage and a 3" screen.

Do you have a wireless router that you are bringing? I can't remember if the Ridge Top has wireless or wired internet. If it's wireless, we can use a wireless router so we can stay untethered. I'm still looking for my extra netgear router. Its some where in my house.

No wireless router, unfortunately, at least not that I could bring without it being a pain. Does the Ridge top have Internet at all? I'm not sure.

I'll bring a few extra Cat5 cables, assuming I can find them. Also bringing the portable hard drive and some blank discs.

Looking forward to the trip. We just sold our house, had an auction and moved since Friday. We are looking forward to a break.

I'm just wondering if it's too late to join in on the fun! I am considering going, but are all the deadlines over for purchasing goodies and making motel reservations? Without reading the entire thread, is there anyone looking to share a room? Is anyone else coming down from the Toronto area?

My bro in law will be visiting next weekend, so it's a great time to be away!! LOL
