In other news…

I hate to type this but Evilina, Joey and I will not be able to attend the ToD. After all this planning for over a year, this years summer movie blockbusters have our time in a bind. Joey and I will be assisting the Iron Man 2 world premiere in Los Angeles (the weekend of the ToD) and also the Toy Story 3 premiere (the following week). There is sadly no way around it. As we've worked on all the name badges, I’ve tried and tried to get us out of these events and it looks like we are stuck. I can't even begin to tell you how devastated we are right now because we are unable to attend. EVEN the idea of flying to the ToD for a day or two would put Joey and I in a bind. I am truly and deeply sorry for us not being able to attend. With that said, the name badges are in good hands and will be handled by Gary and Al.

I know I haven't been on the Org as much lately but this is really our Beetle family and it kills us to know that we will be missing this event. Please keep us in spirit and drive safely!

I hope to see everyone at R211 if not sooner.

I honestly don't think Shonnel is making any more. Since her and Joey aren't coming to the ToD as planned, she's shipped them to me for distribution in Bryson City. With the ToD 2 days away, I'm pretty sure they're enroute. She is sending 20 or so generic name tags we can use a sharpie on tho. I understand you won't get the picture of Homer but like the pizza fest and ToD swag, there were cut off dates posted.
