TOD stickers Ideas and info

This is the final result of the stickers and are for all years of attendance. they are going to be 10 inches long and available in red, blue, white, black and silver. they are going to be 5 bux each and are made to order. I probably will not have extras so get your orders in to my PM box. I will be selling these at cost so I will not be making anything off them. Custom sizes will be available at an extra cost. You will be able to add additional year stickers to this sticker as you attend and I will have the artwork saved so they can be replaced as needed.
I will help anyone that needs help apply these at the hotel so no worries on that. they will be the type that apply to the outside and in all honesty I would plan on putting them on a body panel, they just don't last long on glass. Herbie will be getting 4 of these himself, layed over each other to make a red and blue sticker Like how we did with the Dragon stickers on his side.

Again, I would suggest highly that these not be placed on Glass as you will be replacing them By the next tod if you do and your car sits in the sun alot. For some reason being on glass in the sun causes vinyl Stickers to deteriorate faster. My Jetta had Dragon stickers on the Quarter windows, the drivers side is fine but the Passenger side (faces the sun in our driveway) didn't last 8 months.
If your worried about placing them on the body, removal is real easy with a hair drier and some Opps.

Just a suggestion- you're the artist, so it's up to you. the 2nd one would look sick if you took the 129 sign and erased all the stuff inside and replace it with your artwork. That would be stupid/cool mang. But like I said, you're the artist and I know how us artists are do what you're happy with

I've got a friend that just bought a company that does custom stitching and screen printing - he does small orders for businesses and teams - I'm having him put together some VW hats for me. If anyone wants, I can show him the designs and see what he'd charge for some TOD swag.

I'm really excited about the ToD maiden voyage sticker for those that attended. If the addition of subsequent dates can be incorporated into the design, that would be great. Good work Steve

Yeah, that's it!! I sized it using the sign badge frame as well. I think we're on the same page, but yeah, that's the ticket- like i've said, you're the artist so go with what you're happy with. Thanks for letting us give a little input though

LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOVE the sticker idea!!

I really like the ones that you have came up with so far but as I as looking at the previous ToD GTG pics, I saw someone with the Dragon 129 sticker. I then thought of your ideas and that sticker. I did a HORRIBLY shabby job using paint but I was just trying to put your idea and that sticker together.

What do you think?

Steve, my man, you've got your hands full buddy. It's a good thing though. It's nice to see so many that are passionate about this event. Don't get any extra grey hairs on your decision. I'm sure your bride will make the process a little easier

Hello all, nice to see the designs are flowing. I know I want one of whatever the offical one ends up being. I am offering my services for the final offical decal or sticker. I can get some made and sell them at the event or do preorders. Keep in mind that the font size cannot be to small or the sticker will tear when its cut. So if you have text on them they will have to be a decent size so the text will come out and be able to be seen..
