I noticed that Jason isn't on the list[/COLOR]. I sent Him a text to confirm his booked room.

Jason's e-mail access is sparse these days, so I'm his liaison at the moment
I remember back 50 or so pages Jason had posted he was going to book his room. I think I followed up with a reply to let me know when he had and where. I do believe he'll be attending again so please let me know Al

The receptionist at the hotel in Bryson City was not aware of it this morning so I cancelled the reservation I was making there and called the national reservations line. They were not aware of it either but when I mentioned the 79.99 rate for a two queen double that I was looking at on the web they gave it to me then. To be honest I never picked it up yesterday when I was hunting hotels there so apparently it's something new this morning. Good luck. - Jim
Hey Jim think you might have mixed up two different hotels. For the NE bugavan group, the Thursday night stay in Winston-Salem is $49.00 per night under the group name.

To my knowledge we do not, as a group, have any similar deals worked out for the one in Bryson City.

You have to call the hotel directly in Winston-Salem in order to receive this rate.

Sorry for the confusion on this one.

Thanks .... TechnoTrix'd.

My posting here is only in reference to the Microtel in Bryson City for Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th. For those two nights I was able to get a 20% off for a two consecutive nights stay there. And you're correct there are no special group rates for us there in Bryson City. For the Winston-Salem Microtel on Thursday the 5th I called and got the New Beetle group rate of $49.00. No confusion just two hotels in two different places with the same name.

He's running much better now. He is also getting some other work done to him in the area but that is a surprise for May.

Have a great Saturday all the Org Peeps!

Only in my poor little head then.. ;-) Great info on the 20% off if you book two consecutive nights. Thanks again for sharing it out to the larger group.

Yes, it was ideal down in the Newport News/Hampton area this weekend. Sorry that we were not able to meet-up with you, but it sounded like a really busy weekend on your side with relatives, car repairs and all.

We actually "cruised" Saturday night on the main strip through the area. We hung out at a Hardees's and saw two 1955 Chevy two-door coupes, couple of late sixties Camaro's and a crazy-mad worked out '70 Nova.

So, it was a fun time all the way around.

Here is a pic of me that Warren took on the range before we headed out to play.

Not bad for an old-fart, eh? ;-)

So I just Mapquested my trip to ToD and Tampa and I'm figuring when all is said and done, I will rack on 3K miles for the trip. On a sidenote to that, I realized that now that I put 18's on my car, my work got closer.

Thanks Gary and another piece to the puzzle fell into place today. One huge part should be done by the end of the week.

On another note, I'm booked in Murfreesboro. Now to go to those threads.
