It was a long day at work but i did get my girl driving Hoss and she did great driving for over 30 min before i got her out of the drivers seat. She is still kinda had some small problems finding the gears but that is mostly because of my shift box. She is doing a great job..

Thats great news bud! Congrats to your girl! She will enjoy it more than an auto once she gets comfortable! But be careful, or she will steel it from you all the time

Carla, we will miss meeting you guys too. Was looking forward to getting some good pics with our two wedding anniversary's that weekend.
You are right on all accounts, Jason! Photo, the 5th getting here sooner,, maybe not, and missing out on meeting Carla and Lance and Peanut. It would have been cool for you guys to have been able to celebrate together. Well, Carla, your health and the health of that little one in the oven,
is more important. You will definitely be missed, but there will be pics o plenty for you to enjoy!

On another note, saw Rio with Jeremy this afternoon and wow the air cooled presence was everywhere. A lot of busses and bugs! All types of busses too. After that, Jeremy and I went to my usual Saturday night spot and on the way home, we ended up carabuggin for about 15 miles with a yellow nB. Snapped a couple of pics.

Top of the morning lads. Weather finally broke here. Sunny and clear in the 60's. Today's T.o.D checklist is a full detail, tire rotation, and snow box removal. But first things first.....gotta clean the house. Why do I hate to clean the house, but love to clean my car..........because it's a Beetle.

Good mornin' everyone. Ohhhh yes looks like a nice day brewing here on the Delmarva Peninsula. Today I'm the gardener before I'm able to do anything fun with mechanical stuff. One thing I need to do is put a lot of mulch and grass seed back where it belongs after it was swept away by the terrific rains we had yesterday. I'll work on my playlist for the trip this morning though waiting for it to warm up enough to "play" outside.

Good luck today Michelle! Although Probie doesn't need it. Can't wait to see what you bring home!

@Gene and Jim-> I hear you guys on getting the required stuff done first. I'm going to get laundry rolling before I do any fun stuff too.

In other news, I think I totally suprised Mom and Jeremy when I came out of the house to join them for church as they were pulling out of the driveway.

Right now I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a little here as well. Mid 40's and windy but the sun is out. It should hit 52. Looks like today will be my best free day for painting calipers.

The storms that past through here a few days ago laid down 62 tornadoes in North Carolina. I'm going to call to check on the folks at the Ridge Top tomorrow.

Well folks, a fellow co-worker shafted me. Everyone I work with knows about me going to the TOD. One co-worker in our maintenance dept. took off the whole weekend. So, that means, I can't have the weekend off, also. I think he's trying to pay me back, because last Christmas, I took the whole week off and he tried to do the same, but I turned in my vacation request first.

So, guess what I'm doing tomorrow at work? Putting in for the whole week of Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!This is for you, Jeff!

Anyways, that means there will be a opening at the Ridgetop, if someone wants it.

Really sad to hear this. While you are putting in for Christmas, be sure and put in for the first Saturday in May 2012. Hope to see you then. Sorry you won't be with us.

Any word on the Top yet? Sounded like most of it was near Raleigh, which is where my uncle lives. So far sounds good with him though, mom was supposed to call him. She hasn't called all upset, so guessing that's a good thing.
