Roberta & I will be driving "The Dragon" the 1st weekend in October. We'll be in our 07 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe along with another 69 XFires planning to attend our weekend event!!! We end up running on Saturday the route the VW NB's drive. Then on Sunday we take a northern route up along the Smokey Mountain Nat'l Park and come back thru 'The Dragon' again.

Some of the XFire Owners that are arriving early on Friday are planning to drive 'Moonshiner 28' all the way down to Walhalla, SC. That stretch of road is nearly as popular as 'The Dragon'.

Really anxious to try 'The Dragon' with our NB Ragtop next April.

This gives us 21 confirmed (via this thread) at the Ridge Top as I still have not received the e-mail from Kathy. If 27 of the 36 rooms have been booked I have either missed 6 Orgers or we have non orgers who we'll be sharing the space with.

Probie is looking forward to rockin' his 18's and his 5spd at the Dragon in 2011. I suspect that I will have redone the headliner and door panels by then, got a timing belt/camshaft change, and maybe my calipers and valve cover (finally). If I can accomplish ATLEAST that...I will be happy....

ToD is 8 months away. Smurfette will be up and running looooooooooog before that
