I think this happened last year though too. The first couple months of the thread being posted was very quiet. It wasn't until the fall that it really started to amp up because then we started planning stuff. Also, I think we've kinda slacked a little on promoting it. I mean, we used to spam just about every thread possible! So, maiden voyagers, lets get to spamming! lol j/k Atleast post this thread in your signature. It'll make people wonder..."what is ToD 2k11????" And that's how it all starts.

Me personally, I've been a little quiet in general (other than when I'm at work, like now) because I've been practicing driving my car again. I feel like I'm 16 all over again! lol Remember how 10mph was really scary the first time driving? Well yeah...that's how it is. So, I'm getting better. Drove myself to work today, in stop and go, construction, crazy Atlanta rush hour traffic. Stalled twice, but that was while I was creeping forward on a hill so no one noticed I don't think. lol But I think I got this. Maybe a few bumps here and there, but I got this!!!

Now imagine this experience in a 24 ft truck with airbrakes and and a clutch that you just about have to stand on. Also you have to get to 3rd gear just to get through the light.

That was my first experience driving a stick.

Never too early to start planning. Lots of folks wait till the last minute and then are't able to come

Well since there hasn't been a post in THREE whole days.. I will go off topic for a quick second... and share a picture I got of the storm that reaked havoc on southwest Michigan last night.


To bring it back sorta on topic... I'm glad it didn't do to my car what it did to the new persons... no lightening strikage. And glad the waterspout I witnessed didn't turn into a tornado once it reached land. lol O.O

Full of fright and beauty all in one glimpse! Awesome pic. I can only imagine the drop in temperature as that front came over. Glad you and HJ are ok.
