No offense to women intended. Off-topic, but worth noting. Remember: Don't drink and key!

This is alarming!

Beer contains female hormones!

Yes, that's right, FEMALE hormones!

Last month, scientists at UofM released the results of their recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer.

Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption.

The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain Phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women.

To test the theory, 100 men each drank 8 pints of beer within a one hour period.

It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects, yes, 100% - of all these men:
1) Argued over nothing.
2) Refused to apologise when obviously wrong.
3) Gained weight.
4) Talked excessively without making sense.
5) Became overly emotional
6) Couldn't drive.
7) Failed to think rationally, and
8) Had to sit down while urinating.

No further testing was considered necessary!!

Oh how I was so looking forward to tipping a pint with my new mates. I'll have to brew something exotic for 2K12 as an enticer

You can tell I've got T.o.D. on da brain when I am planing my beer selection for May. But a few months ago the wife and I were in St.Michales Md and found a cool little brewery, that had a great dark beer. I think a couple 6-packs are in order for hangin round the fire pit on Friday nite. And Saturday nite. And Sunday nite. Heck, I better bring a case.

I am from Germany and I think I as younger than this little lad in his Lederhosen when I drank my first Bier

In Germany if you are old enough to walk you are old enough to buy Bier. and that's no joke.

Thanks for bumping the thread Gene! I think about what I'm bringing every time I go buy beer. Which is pretty often for me! I can't wait to be hanging with my nB friends again tipping a few back.

Time to bump the beer thread!!! To those of you who did not attend last year, I thought it would be a great idea to bring your local beer to ToD seeing as we all come from so many different places. This year I plan to bring 312, Dragon's Milk (of course), gonna change it up a little and bring something from Cheeseland to account for Casey and Scott's absence and bring Leinie's Summer Shandy. I plan on bringing my usual as well seeing that there is no MGD in Bryson City. Post up what you plan to bring fellow beer drinkers!!!

Mmmmmmmm Beer! I have 3 batches of home brew I started last month that will be ready just in time to bring to TOD. They are currently building up carbonation in the bottles and will have to sit for about 3 more weeks till they're ready to go into the fridge for consumption. They are Williams Brewing Old American Ale, Stout and India Pale Ale. I have about 50 bottles each, the only question is how much to bring. I would bring them all but we wouldn't have room in the trunk for clothes and I don't think that will fly.

A customer gave me two bottles of Brooklyn Brewing "Sorachi Ace". Big champaign type bottles with corked tops. Tried one over Easter and was pleasantly surprised. Lookin forward to popin the top at the Top. Bringing a 6 of St. Michale's dark ale for sure.
Then probably the latest seasonal Dogfish.
