Default Let's go for a run!

So Michelleroze and myself have been sporting these funky Vibram shoes, and as many of you know I've lost another person by running in these minimal things. Michelle's starting her own program to build up to running. We'd discussed on the Facebook about doing an early morning run at ToD.

Well since I'm a day away from booking my room, I decided to open this up to others. Is anyone else interested in running early, midday, or evening (or all three?) at ToD? Any kind of footwear works, I'm going to be checking the maps for trails we might be able to explore. I recall there were hardly any sidewalks up there!!

Indeed it is. I was thinking about that, that's why I opened the discussion. Should we aim for endurance (the hill) or easy going / sight seeing distance?

I mean, I'm good for a 10K easily.... I don't know what level anyone else interested is at.

I may be talking to you at ToD about another pair of KSOs or Classics... I'm torn, I'm not keen on the classic outside summer, but they're great around the house. I have a pair of Bikilias I run in now, and I've worn out two pairs of KSOs and on my third. Member of the FiveFingers club since June 09.

Hey, I think we should drive to the Road to Nowhere and hike/run some of the trails....

Bryson City Hiking Trails - Deep Creek - Pet Friendly Hiking Trails - Smoky Mountain Wildflowers

The PDF for the Road to Nowhere is pretty interesting.
