Midwest Carabugavan to ToD 2K12

Okay folks just under 4 months until ToD 2012 and figured I would start up the Midwest Carabugavan. I live in the Chicago area and last year I drove down to Murfreesboro TN and met up with the Texas Buguavan peeps, Sixchuter and Duffy, on Thursday night and met up with D2Beetle Friday morning and arrived at the Top around 2ish. I'm not too sure how finances will be for me so I may end up just making the trek to Bryson City in one shot and leave Friday morning. Please post to this thread if you are around this area or will go through the Chicago area or if you are in the path of my travels.

Funds are tight here and my mod list is long.
I'm afraid my only carabugavan is gonna be on the Dragon.

Hello, fellow midwest bugs. We will be bringing two to three turbo S beetles from St. Charles, MO which is 15 minutes west of St. Louis MO. We love to carabug and hope we can meet up with you before you trek into Il or Tenesse? What route are you taking so far so we can try to plan a meeting point?

Hi Marc. I used to go down to Farmington MO and visit my father-in-law there. I just Mapquested my route from home and if I go to Murfreesboro or straight through to Bryson City, my route takes me east through Chicago and down through Indianapolis. I wouldn't think that we would cross paths unless we all met in Murfreesboro.
