A couple of suggestions,

Update the first post with all vital info- first time lurkers might miss the info and get discouraged at info not listed, only to have the info buried in further posts.

Start a roster of campers; like we did on the ToD thread. This might spark the interest of potential attendees who are on the fence. If they see several campers who have booked, this might give them the push they needed to commit.

Gang, although this is late January, this is late in the game for ToD. I encourage you all to solidify your reservations; especially the campgrounds- their busy season is upon us. Keep posting and bumping this thread, so new comers can find it easy on the latest thread roster.

The success of everything ToD hinges on us keeping these threads active. We want ToD to be a big success and give everyone the opportunity to at least know there's an invitation for them to join us.

So... I love camping... I'm considering ditching the hotel room. Anyone else staying in a tent? Not sure how feasible it's going to be, me driving from tulsa with all my camping equipment but it sure would be easier on my budget..

Once i make the call to reserve my camp site, ill be staying in a tent as well. Cant beat $29 and fresh mountain air.

I will be staying in a tent as well and they told me that they will have us together. So we won't be spread out through the campground. I hope to see more people will be at the campground than the 3 of us. If you are planing on staying at the campground please send me a pm so I can make up a list and edit it onto the first post thanks.

Put me down on the camping list. I'm not sure if I'm gonna leave Tulsa Thursday or Friday yet, but either way I should arrive at the camp site on Friday sometime. I may leave Thursday and stay that night at a hotel so I don't have to pull a 15 hour drive then be insanely tired and cranky all night.

Honestly, this completely depends on who I can get to go with me. If I can't find anyone to split costs, I'll definitely be camping. Who knows, my friend might even be down with camping.

I wonder if my friend up in Witchita still has that thule roof rack for sale....

Hea guys since we are getting close to TOD I thought that it would be a good idea to gave a check list of stuff that will be needed. It will help other to brings things that some of us wouldn't think to bring that we may need.

Sleeping bags
hammocks
Cooler
Dog bowls / food

I will be editing and make a list out of everyone's to get all everything we will be bringing and post on the first post for people looking at caning.

After rereading my post I reminded my self that I better get working on my roof rack and also maybe a little surprise for once I get there to put on.
