2012 ToD BEETLE nametag thread

Hey

As we've done the past 2 years, so we're doing this year. Your beetle will sport a 2k11 ToD name tag- yes a name tag for your beetle!

This is a nice little keepsake for you and your beetle and worthy of sporting around year round- Cup's name tags are still on

These tags can fit around the rear view mirror, or around your dash grab bar, however you'd like to rock it.

I've gone through the ToD list and some of the car threads. Most of the info I was able to get- a few orgers have some missing info. I will need that info from you.

If your beetle has no name... maybe it's time to get one, or if you wish to keep your nB nameless, that's fine too.

If you have no photo thread I have no clue to any info, you'll need to give me that to me please.

Please look over this list to see if your name and all pertinent info is listed. If not, I need to hear from you.

I won't hunt you down for the info. I need all beetle names/info to me by April 8th, 2012.

to all of the black, white, silver, and gray vehicles, the big question I'm asking is, do you want your background color to be a different color. 4 example, GrayC is a grey GTI...... all of the bugs are black on the name tags, and all of the afformentioned colors tie/ blend in closely with the background, I was giving you the option of using a trim color to excentuate your name tags. I know most of the gti's have red stitching in the seats. maybe you might want the red for a backround versus a black, silver or grey.

remember, ALL BUGS ON THE NAME TAGS WILL BE BLACK. it is the background of the name tag that determines the color of your car. so cars that are in the grayscale spectrum of color, might want to consider an alternative color to give the name tag more pop.

if you have no alternative color, I'm good with using the color of your car as your background.

again, if your bug has a name I need the name of your bug as well. otherwise I will just use the year and model of your bug as the name 4 the name tag.

Since the car is black could you just leave the alternate color green for me like that one you have made up? I like the colors. You could Pascal is red though if you get froggy lol.

Well now that I have re read the criteria for the name tags, it would probably be easier to change my name tag's background then to repaint Der Stuka. Not really thrilled with this obvious case of discrimination against the silver beetles. This is almost as bad as the discrimination I face daily being the most interesting man in the world.

Make my background bright yellow. Who knows? Maybe there will be some new paint on Der Stuka after all.
