Default How-To Replace the Vacuum Lines (2.0L)

How-To Replace the Vacuum Lines (2.0L)

Time: 15-20 minutes

Crap you'll need:

- about 4-5 feet of new vac line (I got mine off ECSTuning.com)
- a pair of regular ole pliers
- a good light
- pair of scissors
- a digital camera or Polaroid (if ya got one)
- the race on the radio

Follow these steps if you want to live:

1. I suggest taking pics of how things look BEFORE you start taking lines off... just in case
2. On the driver side, just under the windshield, there is solenoid where two of the three main vac lines begin
3. To see where these two lines end, refer to the second and third pics below - Though they are kinda of hard to get to, these two lines just require a nice little tug to remove, nothing more
4. The third line is just to the left of the intake manifold and is super easy to change, you just have to loose the clamp is a pair of pliers

Unless I'm forgetting something, that's it! Good luck!
