Now Attach the passenger side sway bar clamp to the pillow block. Do not do the driver side yet.

Now slowly jack the sub frame back up so that the steering rack can be reattached to it with the four bolts.

This is a bit tricky as the positioning guide pin on the drivers side fits right below the sway bar which is why you do not attache the driver side clamp yet.

The close point is right here. As you jack up the sub frame get the drivers side front bolt in and started into the steering rack.

Make sure the steering rack guide pin is seated.

Once that bolt is started, then start the other three into the steering rack thru the sub frame and get it reattached.

You can then secure the sway bar clamp to the pillow block on the drivers side as the steering rack is now positioned just below it.

If you reattach this clamp first, you will not be able to get the steering rack positioning pin back in its hole.

Now tighten up all four steering rack bolts 13mm to spec as well as the sway bar clamps to the pillow block.

The next step is to further jack up the sub frane until you can start the two long sub frame bolts that go into the pillow blocks. These are the front two 21mm bolts.

Use New bolts!!

You can then start the rear sub frame bolts. Just get them started... not in too far.

You may need to raise or lower the subframe slightly to get the end drop links attached.

That is why the sub frame bolts are started but not screwed in all the way.

These attach with the stock hardware but use thread sealant on the lock nuts. 16mm hex.

Once the new drop links are attached, screw in the sub frame bolts and watch that the steering rack top gasket (#8 in drawing) reseats correctly as the sub frame lifts back up.

These bolts go in at 70ft-lbs.

That's it you are done. Put back the three plastic sound/dirt skirts and put your wheels back on and lower the car. Tighten the wheel lugs on the ground.

Grab your fourth beer...this is a four beer job!!!

Here is a final picture of your take off parts.

1. POS stock sway bar.
2. Two POS stock drop links.
3. Four subframe bolts - must replace with new.
4. Stock sway bar bushings.
