BillsBug would be the man to ask on that particular issue.

He got his from

bugsgogo.com

But his is a Wolfsburg Crest, like the original beetle had.

I'm not sure if he had pried off the old one or stuck the Wolfsburg badge over the existing vw badge.

www.bugsgogo.com also has one with a VW emblem and a plain Wolfsburg metal backed emblem without the billet that sticks right on, but u can also use a VW wheel cap, u just hafta find the right size on e-bay.

I removed the OEM badge, it's really heavy and it took a LOT of work to pry it loose. It's actually attached the the back of the middle portion and I don't recommend you try to do it. I used a 2-5/8" open drill bit and made a 1/8" deep circle and sank the badge in halfway, then used an O-ring to cover the ragged edges.

Don't even THINK about removing the OEM badge, cuz the airbag is right behind it, u'll just f it all up for sure. The dealer will think ur nuts, btw. Get this, it's metal backed and sticks right on, only $24 and u get 4, so send one to 3 other ORG members: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WOLFS...14212999QQrdZ1

TONS of cool Wolfsburg stuff on www.ebay.com, just type in 'wolfsburg'.

I used these on my seat adjustment knobs (look real close).

Hey again Bill,

I hate to bother you about this again, but will they stick on right over the VW emblem on the steering wheel? Is there anything else I'd need to make it looked 'finished' or just stick-n-go? I don't want to order them and have 'em not be anything near what I was hoping for haha...Thanks again!

You can also get the Euro blue/white wheel centercap and adhere it to the steering wheel w/ double-sided tape. I plan on doing this.

If you do, let me know, because that is my plan as well...maybe we can save a few $$$ by buying them together.

Now Bill, the uber-trick thing for the seat adjustment knobs would be to mount the Wolfsburg crests on little weighted spinners, so they always are right side up regardless of adjustment...

Nooooooo, this is the knob for the firmness of the center of the seat back, so I just dialed it to the correct setting, applied the emblem and I've never touched it since. Oh, wait a sec, you were making a joke?

Yes, these badges have a thick metal back and u just stick 'em on. Measure your OEM badge and compare it with the size of this badge (1 3/4" in diameter) just to make sure it's not overly small. If I remember correctly, the OEM badge has a silver ring around it, so when you put this one over it, it should look 'finished'. Be careful cuz it's practically impossible to remove it once applied.
