Does anybody know if it is possible to retro fit cruise control to a 2.slow newbie,as we do a lot of motorway miles to see my family,as i am from the south but now live in the beautiful north where the air is fresh and there is hardly any traffic and cruise control would be great, price of the switch from the dealers is £52 inc so not bad, and have retro fitted to other cars in work with kits but there is not one available for the bug so would have to use parts from the vw bins..does anybody know if wiring is in place or not, does it need switching on in ecu etc.. many thanks jon. |
