Default Coil pack installation

May be a stupid question, but is there anything more involved in coil pack replacement than taking the old ones off/out, putting in new ones, hooking up wires/etc? I need at least one and figured I'd go ahead and do all four.

Also, are these the right ones (from ECS)?

for my 2000 1.8t glx? Thanks!

That's about all that is involved. If you are asking then you haven't changed your own plugs. Note ... be careful pulling the wires out, I broke the plug on my #4 when that coilpack failed .. my first time removing them. You will also have to remove the stuff that is over the #1 and 2 cylinders to remove those. The packs have rubber seals ... so they tend to stick from suction .. just pull them up firmly.

Yeah, it's that easy. Replace the spark plugs while you're at it....and all the vaccuum hose on top of that mess.
