My car came with the sport suspension ... so yes I guess I have them. I still had to cut them down another inch when I put the Neuspeed Sport springs on. The Sport Suspension was just different springs that sat the car .5 inches lower. You can use the bumpstops that came OEM on your car, just cut them down an appropriate amount for the expected drop the new spring are gonna give you.

not a dealer option, an option that was avaliable on '98's though. dealer's never touched the suspension. 95% of the beetles sold in '98 were equipt with the sport package. that included the 16 inch alloy wheels, and fogs. These cars came factory equipt with the sport springs.
