Default Modifying the 1.8 and 2.3 wing motor

Hi all,

I would like to know if someone modified his wing motor(for a deployment at 70 km or 45 miles instead of 160 km) ?

I think that's possible to modify the original motor, but I don't know how...

If someone have the answer, it could be cool !

Thanks a lot,

David

There is a cool device called a Tail-Wagger for the Beetle that you can use

http://www.lupine.com/tw/

It lets YOU choose what speed you want to deploy at, and what speed it closes at. Anywhere between zero to 80 mph for open or close

It also allows the manual switch under the dash to work like normal as well.

Hope that helps

Evanrude beat me to the punch with the answer- Good job man.

Note to newbie(new member to the org)....

Use the search feature before posting- it really works and is most helpful.

Thank you guys !

I am sorry Scarab, but I tried to find it with the research function and I found nothing but a lot of topics.

As I am french, I probably don't use the good words for this type of search (was looking ofr "wing" "motor" "45mph", you see...)

Thanks a lot, I'll try to make a home solution of this Taillwagger.

Hey don't worry about it man; just friendly teasing- nothing serious. You're a bit of alright buddy. Sometimes the search results can be so extensive, you're left scratching your head trying to narrow things down. As a matter of fact, i'm trying to find something myself and it looks like I'll have to post a thread, so no worries

I sent a few e-mails to lupine regarding the Tailwagger a couple months ago and they never bothered to answer a single one of them, companies that don't communicate with me, don't get my money or my recommendation.

Maybe they are filthy rich and no longer need the business.
