2000 nb 2.0 turbo dies randomly .it seems like it happens when turning. the dealer sez he cant know anything unless a code shows. it has always restarted immediatly, but seems like it might be potentialy unsafe! anyone had this?

we had similar problems with a different car. The problem occurred when we had new shocks installed. After that installation, turning right would make all possible lights blink, and engine would turn off. The reason for this was that one of the shocks had broken the right blinker wire, and shorted it so that whenever we put on the right turn blinker, the electric system would short and blow all fuses. So check for possible shorts or bare wires.
