Not sure if this goes here but I didn't find another apropriate forum. Will seats from an 08 NB fit my 98 NB? If not, what years would interchange?

They'll fit. The only issues you might have is with heated seats / airbags not plugging in.

Cool, thanks, I wasn't sure if the tracks were the same. I think I'd read somewhere where you can change out the plugs.

make sure you disconnect the battery when you're switching them out. You don't want an accidental misfire on an airbag.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Not sure if I'll get them but they're a great price for a virtually new front and rear set and I wanted to make sure they'd work before I shelled out the $$$.

The inside of the newer model years may be different but in back only. The seat tracks are definately a direct swap. Have the seller take some pix and dimensions of the rear seat mountings to be sure.

Cool, will do. I really want to swap out the cloth for leather and these 08's are a great deal.

I got some black leather seats for sale You can just buy all my stuff! I don't really want to ship though, so unless you're planning on making a trip to Baltimore...

On a somewhat-related thread-hijacking topic:
Will NB seats fit in any MKIV?

Yeah, I saw your advert for them but never replied since you don't want to ship.

I really, really, really would like to hold out for grey. But since I also want this cloth interior gone, I have been tempted to make a roadtrip

I could ship if the price is right I just don't really know how to go about shipping something like that, to be honest.

You can get them into 2 boxes (tho let the UPS store package them for you). They'll be oversized so dimensional weight will also come into play. Weigh each piece then stack the 2 front and rear seats as separate units. Measure the height + width + depth of each unit and total the measurements for each. Go to the UPS website to calculate shipping charges. Enter the combined dimensions of the front seats for box 1 as well as the weight for the destination zip code. Do the same for package 2 (rear seats). Add $40.00 to the total for packaging and you're done. Prolly could be explained better but I've already had a Vodka and oj
