lost of spare ignition key and master key faulty with no data found..help pls!

hi anyone can help on this...Pls help me .....
i lost my spare keys....plus the other keys was found faulty and totally no data embedded...
now need some precious solution....

the vw service centre given solution is to change ecu,instrument control cluster and set of news keys....

do any encounter such dire situation before or have solution on this...

pls reply and offer me your valuble solution or advise..

Oh, for heavens sake. Dumb dealer.
As long as the reader coil is good, and the ID chip in the key is valid, you can use VAG-Com to reprogram it.
Using the VIN from the car, the dealer can order a new master key with the correct ID chip. Takes about a week, and costs about $80. Been there, done that. I now have two keys that work!
