I have a compustar 900FMR on my 2001 NB. Up here in AK, it's kinda a mandatory thing. In fact, all of the cars I own have them. I know someone on here said "just get in and deal with the cold for a few minutes"
Try that at -29... let me know how it works out. Install was easy, but then again we have about 30 shops around town that can do it. You need the valet key and your Switchblade to make it work. You will not get the valet key back as they need it for the module. Cost up here was about $1400 for the start... that's alot compared to my 2009 F150... $400. |

Hi I had the whole nine instaled on the wife's nb.It is the viper auto start show's temp and alarm sys .I think it is the best.Remote work's up to 1 mile away, and yes it does. Also come's with a pager remote that will page you some one or something hit your car.I love it (for her)lol no more going out on cold night's to start for a few min's .Only thing is it has to be a pro install only.and it is worth it. also lowers car ins and viper will also repay you if the car is stolen .It was 500.00 with install but i got the top of the line.Best money i have spent

It may be lower pressure but its not a firehose at idle like at WOT. The fuel consumption is right at 0.39 l/hr at idle, which is almost nothing. I remember it being 2tsp/min someone calculated on tdiclub. |

Yes i agree with tdi bubble.it's no different than the crazy mod's .it's what you want .It wont hurt the car if done right.Wife's has been in for a yr now and no prob's or cel due to it .Besides what's the difference remote start or all the crazy mod's lol if you wanted a race car why didnt you by one?? how fast do you think this little car will go?? Like the fart can wow big sound but does not make it go faster
It's all about what you want not what other's think. So with that said let the bashing start lol ![]() |

OMG that was great lol.For me i dont care about all the toy's as long as it run's good and look's good. The only reason i had the remote start/alarm put in wife's bug was WAIT FOR IT LOL, I am the one that has to go start it when the wind speed or temp drop's 15-25 below lol that it Hell sorry to say she cant even put gas or check the oil in it. (old dog wont learn new trick's)![]() |
