what is the best manual to buy for tech info and diy projects on the 2001 beetle my dealer tried to sell me one for a 98-99 beetle said they were all the same I dont trust dealers like to fix things myself .

Get the one from Bentley Publishers. By far the best.

I got both, sometimes a paper back is just much easier. But hte CD is nice alosn in the fact that you can print the pages and dont have to worry ifhte copies get dirty or not.
