Default Dash Disassembly... need help!!

Okay, just got the wife a 2001 beetle, lookin to replace some parts on the dash, just the prob is, how to disassemble the blankin dash. any help here would be useful. lookin to pull off the center section where the radio and heater controls are. Thanks

Slide the upper central section of the top dash forward, three screws there holding the air-vent section. Pull the radio, two further screws revealed. Two more under the dash centre below the ESP, Heated Rear window switches. Careful working it clear of the passenger grab rail and it should come loose.

You'll need "radio removal tools" to pull the radio. They're hook-like devices that fit in the slots near the bottom. Either buy them for $8 or so, or make your own.
