OK. I've got one, now what? I can see where this device could be fun. I set the offset to 17, was 24. Book says 4 units above the closed TPS setting (13). Anyone use a different setting? Haven't done a fill-up yet. Just wonder why one has to go thru the fill-up routine to have accurate tank to empty? Wife's Mountaineer does it automatically. Without any correction, my speedo shows 2-3 mph fast as it does compared with my GPS.

The only location for mounting, visible and out of the way, is under the switch panel as shown in a picture above. Higher up would be best for viewing, but where?

I posted photos of my temporary location.
Took out the light above the visor and snaked it through there.
But really want to mount it on my A-pillar, even if I have to read it sideways, it will be a more convenient location to glance over at - instead of glancing up.

As for the settings, I have only altered my gas tank size and engine type. I'm not too concerned about changing the MPH - haven't had my GPS up since I got it, so I don't know that it is that off.

I totally screwed up my first tank. Out of the box it seemed to be reasonable, but now it is reading somewhere in the 200-300 range for MPG's. Gonna have to figure out how to reset that next time.

Reset to defaults and start over. Yes, mounting is an issue. I saw your mounting above the visor, but that is a little too high.
