Default Help for retrofitting cruise control?

Hi all,
a newbie member asking for help for the 1st time. I've been planning to retrofit a cruise control and I've bought everything needed for the job. Except for one thing, the wiring diagram! It wasn't included in the package Anyone out there willing to share their instructions for this job?? Pretty please? And, the beetle I'm driving is a '99 1,9 TDI. Thanks!

Let me know how this goes. My '99 doesn't have cruise, and thats about the only complaint I have. I've thought about retrofitting it but wasn't sure what all was involved. If you could document it, that would rock

Good luck!

Hi. Still don't have the electrical diagrams for this but I did some asking around and what I was given was the instructions for retrofitting cruise control to Golf IV TDI / Bora TDI. They told me I could apply those instructions also for my Beetle and the cars are similar but does anyone know if this is true?? Someone out there must have had this same project...

The New Beetle is a MkIV. A lot of things are the same across the board.

I don't think there are a lot of NBs out there without cruise
