Question Tall Tires..What Fits?

Interested in picking up some snows and want to fit the tallest possible tire without rubbing.. Anyone with oversized tire experience on a stock suspension?

205/70/15 should fit, with maybe just a slight fender liner rub on full lock. I'm running that size tire, but have a 2" suspension lift. The thing about snow tires though, you want them to be as narrow as possible. Narrow is more important than tall. The 205's I have work well, but I certainly wouldn't go any wider. Any equivalent 16" sizes are going to be too wide.

Right about narrow. The steel wheels I have are 16". 195/60 would pry be my limit I'd think..

This will probably be your best bet. Tread width is 0.5" narrower, though the diameter is only 0.3" taller so you'd only gain 0.15" in height. Still, I'd choose this size over 205/55/16's.
