Default Wiring

I need to run some wires from the engine bay to the inside of the car. It is hard for me to see anything in that engine bay. Is there a recomended area that I should be looking to run some wires?

Thanks,
Bill

In the firewall there are a few rubber grommets, run the wires thru them and use sealant around them.

There is a grommet on the firewall near the master cylinder. On the inside, its located above the gas pedal. That is where I routed my gauge wiring.

As mentioned above, there are quite a few different rubber grommets / plugs on the firewall that can be used to route wires through. I typically punch a very small "x" into the grommet with a knife and feed the wires through if there are no other wires currently running through it.

I ran a power cable from the inside to the engine compartment through the vent openings underneath the upper dash panels. Lower corner of the driver's side windshield pillar.

Sorry, no pictures...
