Man, that was quick. You'll be back on the road in no time.

I'm surprised the airbags didn't deploy...

x2 I agree with Timber. Good time to look for a turbo S bumper if you like that style or another type that someone has on sale. Glad you are ok and the Beetle is "pulling" its way back together.

In the last few weeks of getting our Bug I've been thinking about how a New Baja Bug would look? Had thought about the "Rally" look but it's just not the same.

I think your crash could be a blessing in disguise. Your pic on the lift looks like the start of a real Baja.

Default Latest mod for the Baja New Beetle

Just installed a 3000k winch inside the bumper of the Baja can't wait to test it out.

Nice! I've never seen so much winch disappear like that before.

Wow thats a sweet idea for a winch!

I'm about to dive into a good size lift custom built, any issues with alignment? I can fix toe for sure, what did your caster/camber do with 4"+?

Thumbs up Frickin' Bitchin' Dude

I just aquired my girlfriends 2000 beetle with the 2.0L. It makes more sense for me to drive the 11 year old car with 114,000 miles on it everyday to the refinery that is 45 miles away from home then it does to drive my 2009 journey with only 27,000 miles or the 2009 GMC Sierra with 12,000. The gas mileage is a plus too. I have thought about the old baja bugs and how that would look with the new beetle. Your's is looking good. I like the winch up front, have you though about a brush/ light bar? I'm really thinking about that for mine. I also want to plastidip the whole bug in flat black.I'll be looking to yours as inspiration.
