Hi all, found the Vag-Com list:

and emailed kcfoxie in Durham the other day, but haven't heard back. Anybody know of anyone else around that might not be on the list yet. Looking for someone in or around the Triad of NC, but can travel a little.

I need to have my airbag light reset to see if the problem has been fixed and check a few other things. Thanks.

Foxie has one. He's actually in Raleigh.

There are a number of local shops in NC. There is also a really good local community. I'd head on over to ncdubs.org forums and check and see who has one closer to you.

I have a AB light on as well. If you dont find anyone in the Greensboro/Triad area maybe we can do a little G2G in Raleigh with KCFoxy and ck codes if he's willing?

Im going to buy one, just not in the cards just yet, maybe by April or so?

I also have access to one...my FIL has one. If you end up making a trek to Raleigh, we should do a mini G2G. Myself and foxie are here, as well as another Orger.

I found a severed wire on the passenger side seatbelt. I soldered it back togother and taped it up to prevent further damage. I really hope thats all it is. But if it comes back on then I'll know for sure.

Thanks Smiley Bug! I'll see if CGK can match our schedules up...if not a mini GTG would be geat. I'll keep everybody updated.

Maybe a mini gtg would be good to do anyway....always nice to meet new people!

kcfoxie, hope you get to feeling better...Thanks for checking your Vag-com equipment. CGK and I got our schedules together and will be running a scan next week...I'll let everybody know if it worked.

When are you guys meeting? Im off Fri/Sat/Sun and would like to ride down with ya! Id at least like to know whats wrong with my AB light so I can get it fixed.

I dont konw if this would cause a issue but I started the car with the seatbelt clipped in and it set a code, it had been rock solid until that day. Im hoping it can just be reset and itll be OK??
