Default Headlight looks a bit foggy. need to replace, but from where?

Hello everyone.

I hope I've posted this thread in the correct forum section. I looked for a troubleshooting section, but couldn't find it.

Anyways, I own a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle (2.5L 5 cylinder engine, Manual Transmission). Just today I walked into my garage and noticed that the passenger side headlight of my Beetle looked a bit opaque, more than the driver side, which was transparent-looking. With a closer inspection, I noticed that there was also a tiny fracture (inch-long) in the headlight assembly, running vertically from the base of the light. Could this fracture have allowed moisture to enter the light and cause the fogginess?

I've decided to just simply replace the light, although I'm sure there are ways to restore the light. I'm going to purchase an aftermarket version online and after doing some browsing around I've narrowed it down to two vendors that I may buy from. The only problem now is, I'm a bit suspicious that one of the vendors may be illegitimate, since the difference in prices of the headlight between the two sites is somewhat significant. Has anyone used either of these sites and can verify that they're indeed legitimate? Thanks in advance.

I can't help in the vendor issue, but my 2000GLX had a crack in the lens that would allow moisture in. It would dry out by itself, so I waited till it was dry then took superglue and filled in the crack. You could hardly notice it. It lasted 2 years. It may still be holding for the person who bought it off of me.
