Default Info Please?

Hey guys, I have a 2001 NB 1.8t. Im looking to do a vr6 swap with turbo. Ive seen the threads on here about the swap, and for the most part, it doesnt look too hard. I dont really know much about the vr6, so i would like to research the engine before I start. If anyone has any info about this engine, please let me know. Ive read numerous articles about it, and now i would like to know the tunning/modding point of view about it.

I know there is a 12v and a 24v VR6. Can't tell you much more.

If you go over to VWVortex.com, there is a technical section for engines. I'd read up in the VR6 forum. That will have a ton of info for you.

Agreed, since the VR6 wasn't offered in any new beetle aside from the RSI, and swaps are few and far between, you're probably not going to get a lot of information from the .org.
