Default RHD Swap

just wondering, has anyone done the Right hand drive conversion to their NB? I will be doing a VR swap within the next year and since im going from automatic to stick and cutting up the fire wall for the clutch assembly i was thinking of doing the RHD swap while everything is in pieces.

i am curious about this too. I have always loved the look of a right hand drive. I am an a student to become an engineer and I know that VWs are sold all over the world. This means that the dash structure should be about the same so that when building at factory it will be the same thing just depends what where it is going to be what goes where. This saves in build time and saves because the stamps that make the parts are the same. I guess if no one knows i will just have to take the dash out and take a look

Cutting up the firewall for clutch install? Just did a swap to manual and no hacking up needed. Already provisions for the clutch.

Also not sure on the legality of RHD. You would have to check into that.
