I decided to replace all suspension in my newly acquired beetle. Everything thumps and clunks and the car is stiff as if there is no suspension at all. It only has 55K but it is built in 1998 and nothing has been replaced. I am thinking of this kit of shocks for $275 at GAP:
GermanAutoParts.com I want to use this opportunity to lift the beetle at the same time with metalnerd 2" kit. Will these shocks have enough room, or if not, which ones should I get? Should I replace coil springs unless they are broken? Thank you |
