Default Proper HID conversion snag

So i've bought all of the parts for my install. Audi projector, D2S philips ballasts, relay, adapter, bulbs and bulb holder. the problem is the D2S bulb holder male plugs don't fit the D2S ballast female plugs. If anything in this conversion seamed that it would be easy getting the bulbs connected to the ballast seamed to be it.

Are there different Phillips D2S ballast for different cars or something. i thought all D2S was the same.

Link to the ballasts i bought.

Pics if it will help.

first is pic with each connect on top of the the one it goes with.
second is the phillips ballast connector.
third is the D2s bulb connector from ddm. (and looks like every other D2s connector)
fourth is a pic of the ballast details.

i think i may have figured it out.

HID ballasts use one of two plug set ups for bulb holder extensions. the aftermarkets like DDM use AMP and the OEMs use KET. so if any of you get an OEM phillips ballast that needs a bulb holder extension (as in, the bulb holder is not attached to the ballast) you will probably need a KET style bulb holder. mine is on the way. maybe i can get this conversion done. then again i'm waiting for the beautiful washington weather to clear as it's been raining for almost a week.

Well, I got my new extensions and they don't fit. so it looks like i'll be going with a DDM slim kit and eating the $130. damn.

I did my lows and fogs with that slim kit, easy as cake, hardest part is zip tieing 4 ballest in the engine bay.

Here is a link to my thread:
