Default Vag Com - Sharing Thread

Bugmonkey made a cool suggestion -

If you have a Vag Com and are willing to help others out in your area please post your Username and Location in this thread and I will add it to a list that will live in the How-To Thread section.

If you ever decide that you no longer want to be a part of this you can always PM me to have your information removed or upadated if you move...

So - Post away!!!

Here's the thread with all the info....

I'm still new to Vag-Com, but willing to share what little I know and learn from others too.

I used VC yesterday to change the door unlocking function from click once for driver's door, click twice for passanger's door to one click unlocks both doors. Wife really likes that better.

I can't seem to find it, but I know there's a huge list of all members (if they register) of people with vagcoms. I know I've received a few emails from people who found the list and asked if I could read their codes.

Anyone remember the link?

I have a VAG-Com and live in Bandera, TX, NW of San Antonio. Here is the link you were looking for of other VAG-Com users: http://www20.brinkster.com/beowulf9/tdi/vagcom/.

I was going to add that info as well. I've got the latest Bentley CD (includes '05 NB/NBC) and the latest VAG-COM cable (can be used with MkV vehicles and the B6 Passat).

By the way, THIS is the VAG Tool Locator database.
