Out of the four mods my wife wants on her 2007 NB, which one would you do first.

1. Factory fog light kit (with Euroswitch)

2. Headlight upgrade (HID's most likely)

3. Three gauge pod (with voltmeter, oil pressure and water temperature gauges)

4. Euro rear fog light install

I vote for the headlights. IMO Always do the ones essential for facilitating everyday driving... everything else is secondary.

HIDs are always the 1st upgrade I do to all my vehicles that do not already have HIDs.

Once you've driven a car with HIDs, you really notice when a car doesn't have them.

Do the lights.

As for the gauges I personally think they look foul, just my 2p.

I would do the fogs AND headlights at the same time. The factory low beams.. well... suck. It's the one thing I wish I had modified on my bug 10 years ago. Instead I've suffered all this time with miserable low beams but hey at least I have some useless fogs.

I vote for fogs

. you live in WA -a rainy, foggy climate where fogs are particularly useful.
. fog lights that are aimed correctly are very safety oriented (I'm a Safety Manager).
. they look cool.

p.s. replace the oem bulbs w/ a PIAA Ion Crystal set that gives a slight yellow tint for enhanced fog/night clarity.
