Default Exhaust Anyone?

It's time... I've had my Bugzie for 4 months now and I'm itching for a lil rumble. I've been research (or trying to) exhaust but all I keep seeing is Magnaflow. Is there anyone on here with other exhaust types? Any performance gains? Sounds etc? I'm not looking for a tinny (sp?). Any suggestions/ideas?

Thanks in advance

I myself merely performed a mufflerectomy, basically I removed the rear muffler and then welded in a straight pipe with one of the chrome ends from the stock muffler welded onto the now single outlet. It sounds good to me and isn't incredibly loud because the middle resonator is still on the car, now this is on a 1.8T so I don't know how it would sound on anything else. But when you're a poor college student with a kid and wife its a little hard to pay for a nice exhaust right now so it is what it is.

Thumbs up

OEM "Sport" Catback Exhaust System, abt $850. Borla & Corsa don't make one. Borla made a "universal" muffler for a while, but no longer. Magnaflow is garbage IMHO.

Thanks for the info. As for emissions, I'm in FL so I don't have to worry about passing an annual.

Thanks again for the responses.
