Default stalls immediately after starting

my daughter has a 2002 beetle turbo and a problem has just started with it ands it is nearly every time she starts the car it stalls could anyone please tell me how to fix this problem please..

Scan it for codes (Autozone, buy a vagcom or befriend someone close who has it) and post them here.

If many codes clear them then drive until you get the symptom then scan again

Post the results here and we'll advise what they mean...

The next time it does this; look and see if a light is flashing that has a image of a key; if it is... then, it is related to the immobilizer! In that case; the car is shutting off the ignition; thus, the "starts" and "stalls". The immoblizer, needs troubleshooting! There could be other possibilities like the crank sensor.. scan, get the trouble codes! Let us know how things progress....
