Default turbo on stock car?

hi i own a 2000 beetle, can i buy/install a turbo on the car? I wanted a turbo edition but couldnt find one in good shape for a good price and i needed a car!

of course you can, but it will depend on your skills weather or not it will work correctly or not.

On the 2.0L its more common to throw a supercharger on it. No matter what though, adding a turbo or SC is going to cost you a pretty penny. Really more worth just buying a 1.8T to begin with.

If you have the skill, tools and time...anything is possible. But there is no such thing as a bolt on turbo for the 2.slo

after thinking about this if you just want a little added HP go for a chip instead. also if you have an auto not a manual i would stay away from the turbo/supercharger at all costs, it will eat it up.
