Default Skid Plate!!!! Help!!!

I've bought a skid plate since I've been told my car is missing it and it protects the motor. The part below is the one have and it is for a New Beetle 1999 but it doesn't match the opening under the car. It seems to be larger than the part.

http://replacement.autopartswarehouse.com/parts/autopartswarehouse/wizard.jsp?year=1999&make=VW&model=BET--001&category=All&part=Skid%20Plate&dp=false

Looking for help with instructions for installation/ pictures showing how its supposed to look like. Also, does anyone know if there's another piece to that part that i'm missing.

There's 3 plates that goes under there, but the 2.0 only comes with the middle one (according to the VW tech sitting here with me).

He says line it up in the middle and bolt it on, as long as the holes line up, you're set, unless they sent you the wrong part.

Do you have a part number for that? The previous owner's wife ran over a concrete parking stop and ripped it up. The area that has (or had in this case)the p/n is missing in action. I'd like to get a replacement.

Just a quick question. Is this for a 2.0L NB?

that'd be the website's stock number or item number.

they were lookin for the VW part number, which isnt on that site, but is printed on the skid plate itself.
