Default NB Headlight repair

Can anyone advise me as to how to remove my headlight, the release arm handle is broken off and will not allow the slide to go up or down. HELP

You are gonna have to get in there with a small screw driver and try to push what is left of the release arm down.

Yep small awl or screw driver to work it up to unlocked position. Replacement pieces are availble for the lock ring Don't forget to push on the little lock tab on the side of the light close to where the handle. It's a little square with the hex pattern on it.

thanks for the info. I had gotten as far as depressing the tab, but could not get the lever to move. Love the idea of drilling the holes to move it upward. Thanks
I have the replacement housing on hand, so just need to get the old out.. going with HID retro headlights from the retrofit source
It always helps to have more than one set of eyes on a problem..
