Default Upgrade performance on my 1.8 Turbo

I've added a cat back exhause, larger intake pipe into the turbo, performance chip & K&N air filter. What should I do next? Add intercooler? Performance cams? Larger down pipe? Has anyone had experience with any of these and if so, how much did it improve performance? Thanks, John the 3rd.

The most gains will be seen by tuning.

A remap, upgraded intercooler, TIP, and DV, that would do nicely

I think the biggest overall seat of the pants type of gain is a performance tune. Everything else you add will only marginally enhance the performance and may or may not gain you a few ponies here and there. The only thing you could do is probably add a Big Turbo kit and then retune the car. But now we are talking Big Money as well and I don't think it is worth it. But if money is no object than I would do an engine swap to a 2.0 along with a Bigger Turbo and Front mounted intercooler. That will definitely improve your performance. The 2.0 Turbo is an amazing engine and responds nicely to performance tunes.
