How fast?

just curious has anyone takeing there bug to a drag strip and if so what times could you run the quater mile? or has anyone tried a closed circuit track and hit a good top speed ? just want to know what the bug can do ,,

Dood, this is in the wrong category, no one will see it, should be in Amateur/Professional Motorsports or 1.8 Turbo or something like that. Ur question is too general cuz times wil be determined by the amount of performance mods and the experience of the driver. Mine goes fast...

Well, Yellowjacket has a 13.9 1/4 mile time in his sig, but that's the only one I know of.

I commute to hyannis ma from swanea, MA. the highway is wide open. I average 90mph, it's fast.

Purrs like a kitten at 85 mph... boy am I getting old.

I've been busted at 102 mph (wasn't worth the $500 ticket), but have seen 135 mph on a long stretch of highway.

When my 1.8t was stock I was able to reach speeds in excess of 130mph, now in far from stock form, getting to those speeds just takes a whole lot less time...

141 qith my 1.8t with just my neuspeed chip and intake. It was when i first got the car, but now i think i could get 150 easy i just dont feel like going to jail.

I can't launch for toffy but managed at 13.7@104. My car is also geared for around 170mph but I haven't taken it anywhere near that... it's for better highway cruising than top speed

I so want to drag race you bug with and show you some 12's. I know it has them in him.
